Editing – Understand that you will be provided with a copy of your feature with one round of edits. One round of edits includes the following steps: 1. Your answers to questions are reviewed and compiled into your profile feature for the book. 2. You will receive a first draft of your profile as it is to appear in the book. 3. You will review the draft and respond within 7 days with either your approval of the draft as presented or your suggestions for revisions. No other opportunity for revisions will be offered. In other words, you will have one opportunity to make suggestions for revision. Any responses that are received past the 7-day interval will go to the back of the line. You are kindly requested to honour the timelines set out in any communication with you. 4. Any revisions you request need to follow the guidelines for making such submissions. It has been our experience that there are many different approaches to sharing document revisions. If you choose to follow your own version, your material will go to the back of the line. While we make every attempt to accommodate different styles, your attention to conforming to our preference will go a long way toward assisting us to get the job done. 5. You will receive a final version of your profile with the wording to appear in the book. Please note, however, that editorial and design privilege may be exercised in the final production of the manuscript. 6. Of course, there will always be those who want to request amendments to their profile right up to the time that the book goes to print. This is a massive project that is managed in sections. Unlimited editing is not an option. Revisions of a critical nature will be reviewed and addressed by the publisher. Revisions of preference following your approval of your draft such as adding a sentence, changing a word or revising a paragraph may not be accommodated. While we want to do our best to show case you, attending to such matters can be most time consuming and can delay the printing schedule. Should your request for a non-mandatory change be accepted by the publisher, you will be required to pay an upfront fee of $150 per change.
