Would you like this event to be considered a featured event!!
What does that even mean?!?
Okay, when you look over on the right hand side of this page you will see the sidebar section with some boxes. In the one marked “All Event Categories” you should see a category named “Featured Event”. Got it! Good 🙂
Now if you check that box next to “Featured Event” this event will get special treatment. It will be displayed with different styles on the events page. Now you can have 2 specially highlighted events and they will be displayed in order of closest to that event.
For example say todays date is February 25, 2017… Saturday! What the heck are you doing working Saturday?? Anyways… Lets say you make two events Featured. One is March 1, 2017 and the other is March 20, 2017. They will be displayed on the events page March 1, 2017 event first and March 20, 2017 event second. Make sense right.
Okay, lets say you add one more event and mark it “Featured Event” and it happens to be on March 15, 2017.. whats happen then?!?
Well they would be displayed on the events page as March 1, 2017 first then the event on March 15, 2017. What happen to the March 20, 2017 event? It was a Featured event too! Well I have make it so only the next 2 featured events will be displayed. But after March 1, 2017 has past the new order will be March 15, 2017 event then the March 20, 2017 event.
Also, whether this event is displayed at the top featured section or not, it will be displayed in order below in the events section. This featured events section is just to add make the next two featured events stand out.
