ANNEMARIE MERCEDES HEIKENWÄLDER, H.BCom, AvMP, has lived in Austria, Canada, Mexico, Italy and Russia and is a polyglot.
Heikenwälder started her career shortly after graduating from her Honours Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Ottawa in 2013. She was recruited by a start-up fixed base operator (FBO) to develop new sales channels and grow the business. The company was nominated for the prestigious Canadian Rising Star Award by WINGS Magazine in 2014. In 2017, she was personally nominated among the Top 20 Under 40 Professionals in Canadian Business Aviation by WINGS Magazine. That same year, Heikenwälder completed an AvMP certificate with IATA/Stanford and began working on her private pilot's license.
In 2019, Diamond Aircraft’s CEO personally headhunted Heikenwälder, where she is now Head of Sales & Marketing for Americas and Oceania.
Heikenwälder has ambitious plans to continue influencing the industry and shaping the next generation of aviation professionals.
