Dr. Caroline Cole Power, is a Human Resources Executive and industry-leading Adult Educator with over 20 years of experience in Canada and the United States. She is the CEO of Canadian HR Solutions, Inc. (CHRS), which spans 14 cities across Canada and operates through its four divisions; Sensitivity Training Canada, Canadian HR Academy, Worldwide Workplace Learning, The CTMP Society of Canada.
Power is a member of the 30% Club and a supporter of the Government of Canada’s 50/30 Challenge. She spent her early career in leadership roles at General Electric (GE) Capital beginning in the company’s Canadian commercial equipment financing operation and later transferring to corporate headquarters, in Connecticut, to complete the Risk Management Leadership program. After GE she held executive positions at BMO Financial Group, Ernst & Young and the Business Development Bank of Canada. Her last industry role was Senior Vice President of Human Resources.
Currently, she holds the Certified Talent Management Practitioner designation, an M Ed degree in Adult Education from the University of Toronto, an MBA degree in Corporate Finance from Wilfrid Laurier University, a BBA degree in Human Resources Management from York University, Western University’s Richard Ivey School of Business post-graduate Executive diploma and a PhD in Higher Education and Organizational Psychology.
Power is the Vice Chair of Credit Canada Debt Solutions, Canada’s first credit and debt management agency.
She has memberships with the Canadian Psychological Association, the Canadian Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychologists, Human Resources Professionals Association, CPHR Alberta, the Society of Human Resources Management (US), and the Institute of Corporate Directors.
