Reetu Gupta was born and raised in the world of real estate and hospitality. After graduating with an M.B.A from the Schulich School of Business, Reetu’s career quickly progressed from The Gupta Group Executive Director to being named Chairwoman in May 2022, a rare role for a woman in Canada.
The Gupta Group portfolio of businesses, including Easton’s Group of Hotels, Gupta Group Developments, Rogue Insight Capital, The Gupta Family Foundation, and Gupta Group Mining, represents one of the most diverse, unique portfolios in Canada. The Easton’s Group of Hotels is one of Canada’s largest private hotel development firms currently with 18 hotels across Canada and 7 more under development. Under Reetu’s leadership, The Gupta Group expanded into the condominium market with 4 million square feet of mixed-use projects currently under development.
Reetu is also the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Rogue Insight Capital Ltd, the diversification arm for The Gupta Group focusing on investing in Canadian start-ups with female and/or minority leadership. In 2020, Reetu also launched The Gupta Family Foundation where she sits as President and Co-Chair.
