Universal Women-Led – Dillinger Research and Applied Data – Co-Founder Kathryn McDonald

Dillinger Research and Applied Data guides youth-serving organizations to utilize their data to improve youth outcomes. From small non-profits and school departments to large urban school districts and state-level Education Departments, Dillinger recognizes youth support is critical at every level.

Kate McDonald is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of the non-profit Dillinger Research and Applied Data (DillingerRAD). Aside from being at the center of strategic and daily business operations, Kate serves as project manager and lead consultant for major projects with partners across the country, such as the Connecticut Department of Children and Families and the Colorado Department of Education. Before co-founding DillingerRAD in 2021, Kate spent over a decade in education teaching at a number of post-secondary institutions across Connecticut and working as a Learning Specialist supporting students who are struggling academically to help them reach their full potential. Additionally, Kate has extensive research and data analysis experience acquired while earning her PhD in Biology at Wesleyan University.
