Power Partners – Balancing the feminine and masculine…key business advantage.

Register for Breaky on Thursday, December 14 as we feature Christopher Kennedy and Heather Erlen.

A truly conscious leader is able to call on both positive masculine and feminine qualities regardless of their gender. They know when it is beneficial to express their masculine or their feminine qualities, and are sensitive to the impact of each.

The new business entrepreneur taps both sides of their human nature, is decisive, action-oriented, focused and strategic (masculine), as well as intuitive, empathetic, collaborative and inspirational (feminine).

We had the opportunity to interview Heather and Christopher, Power Partners who have a vision to raise awareness for gender parity by embracing the feminine and masculine.! Join us for Breaky on Thursday, December 14 as we welcome Christopher and Heather to share how balancing the feminine and masculine is one massive key business advantage!

Heather and Christopher: we are the physical manifestation of our business — opposites of colour, creed, race, and sex — one feminine, one masculine — but to see us only as opposites is to overlook our greatest strength — as opposites we attract the best from each other and the best stories, anecdotes and messages from our guests.

How feminine and masculine value business… a key advantage is embracing the perspective!

Masculine business values: By the book – blind ambition – aggressive competition – relentless drive to succeed – survival of the fittest – businesses a battleground – conquest and domination.

Feminine business values: Intuition – team work – flow with – value of relationships – openness – collaboration – people matter.

He Said + She Said

Chris: Within each person, there’s a feminine element that is both distinct from, yet entwined with a masculine element. To blend the strengths of each allows each individual access their greatest potential. The same template applies in businesses, and in every endeavour human make. Our Podcast promotes the greatest in human potential.

Heaher: This podcast has developed a deep appreciation for the magic that occurs between Feminine and Masculine; it is a dance rather than a balance where they interchange in taking the lead. This occurs within each one of us and also in our experiences with others. I have found the intellectual and energetic movement between Chris and I have enabled profound understandings of wellness, prosperity and peace within.

What is your vision for your business?

Chris: Inspire global peace as a consequence of prioritizing a harmony of polarities — feminine and masculine — arising within every individual woman, and man.

Heather: The vision for our business, the podcast The Virgin, The Beauty and the Bitch, is to awaken a reformation of Feminine – in women, men and persons of all genders. From centuries ago until this very day, the Feminine has largely been dominated by the definitions and societal prescriptions that the Masculine has perceived as it’s worth and function.
First – The Virgin: how female’s sexuality has been inflexibly tied to her virtue through chastity, to now a look into the ways that the western world have embraced female sexuality, and what women today are doing to claim their own sexual power and orgasms.
Second – The Beauty: In all areas over the globe, a female’s worth has been associated to her external beauty. Since our physical appearance is ever fading, it is tall order that has no promise of longstanding power, our show explores – with our guests – how to cultivate and harness our inner beauty’s prowess.
Last but certainly not least – The Bitch. She is the consequence of saying no, and knowing just how hard it can be for a female to say “No” – since society pressures her to be willing. Our show brings to light new ways of defining Feminine – dismantling commonly perceived notions and opening up space for new characterizations of Feminine – an energy and way of being that each of us can harmonize with Masculine, to create a oneness within ourselves.

Where do you see your business in five years?

Chris and Heather: We see growing from a podcast into a business to include speaking engagements and personal development and online coaching programs.

How has your business embraced gender parity?

Chris: As individuals we couldn’t be more different, however our blend of differences makes for a unique partnership where each person brings strengths from two different ends of the spectrum. As a team, we walk the talk by embodying gender parity as true partners.

Heather: Our business embraces gender parity through the two co-hosts being a male and a female – both willing and actively rousing the means to exercise and nurture masculine and feminine parts of self. Our guests come in the form of many different types of genders, backgrounds and beliefs – this has stimulated an opening of fresh ideas that collide and procreate in new meanings and realizations.

How has this power partnership benefitted your business?
Chris: Our Podcast thrives on a partnership of opposites; each person having a unique perspective and freedom to explore the human experiences with our guests.

Heather: Wow, knowing Chris has become one of the most specular journeys for my soul in this lifetime. He is a wordsmith, a man who layers our beautiful language to sculpt a refreshing lens on this world. He is a man that believes in the vital importance of lifting up the Feminine. His thoughts have largely marked the vibrant nature of our podcast, I feel very fortunate to know him.

Words of wisdom?

Heather: My words of wisdom is to be aware of the Feminine and Masculine energies within you, and challenge yourself to not solely perceive your Feminine as nurturing and your masculine as assertive. I like to play with my Feminine being my source of power and decisive thinking and my masculine as being the protector and caregiver for my loved ones. Enjoy creating new senses of what these entities mean – and bring them to your business with a new found appreciation of celebrating the unique gender expressions of your colleagues.

Christopher Kennedy: Co-Host Virgin Beauty B!tch, Member Canadian Business Chicks

CHRISTOPHER: If I must be placed in a box make it the one labelled Servant-Leader. Put me in with those who engineer change for the good of all humanity through deeds inspired by the golden rule. My education comes from paying attention to life, my degree is in making change happen, and my profession is the pursuit of Yin and Yang — the harmony of opposites. My name is Christopher, I am a writer with an answer on the tip of my pen to a question few ask — what it feminine?

Heather Erlen: Co-Host Virgin Beauty B!tch

HEATHER: Sassy since birth – most of my life has been comprised of witnessing societal prescriptions, and finding playful ways to bend or break them. When one knows we all have feminine and masculine energies within us, the fluidity of dispelling expectations shines a luminescent light on balance and harmony. The downtrodden vortex of womanhood – virgin/whore, beauty/shame, bitch/angel – led me down dark side roads and glamorous soirées. And what did I find…. I’d love to tell you.
