My experience with Universal Women’s network was mind-blowing from start to finish. I was nominated and the process was very straightforward. It was so amazing to see my photo in the National Post across the country not once but 3 times! Pre gala we were delivered amazing flowers to celebrate our nominations as well as products from women businesses! From the small touches of love.. that was actually HUGE to the social media and marketing, I could not have asked for more. It was an empowering, amazing, and great personal and professional experience.

Leading the way for women advisors. The Raymond James Women Canadian Advisors Network provides a powerful platform to share insights, spark business growth and promote the contributions of women. We are an international community with our sister networks – Women Financial Advisors Network in the United States and the Women Wealth Managers Network in the United Kingdom. Since 1994, our networks have grown from a grassroots effort to more than 1,100 successful women who are passionate about connecting with like-minded women in the industry, building relationships and growing their businesses with the full support of a firm that puts advisors first. Our networks are supported by a diverse group of talented Raymond James women advisors through our Women’s Advisory Councils in each country. They dedicate their time and industry knowledge to offer guidance and direction to advisors navigating an ever-changing industry.

Some key initiatives of our women’s networks are:

• The Annual Women’s Symposium — an outstanding industry event that unites women from all walks of financial service – and globally – for a three-day, jam-packed experience designed to appeal to financial advisors at all stages of their careers.
• The Aspire Magazine, which is dedicated to empowering and inspiring women in the financial advice industry. By celebrating their achievements and recognizing their contributions, the magazine showcases the indispensable role women play in the world of finance.
• The Woman of Distinction Award, which is designed to recognize a woman advisor who has served as a role-model to other advisors or service associates in her branch or the industry.  Through mentoring and coaching, she’s supported the professional growth of women by sharing her experiences, knowledge, ideas and feedback.
