Meet Armand M. Flores, the man behind the lens who captured the individual strength and beauty of our 2018 Women of Inspiration Nominees.
It started with a mutual connection to an empowerment calendar project that I am so honoured to be apart of for Green Sparrow Care. Armand shot me for the calendar and I spotted he was a champion of women and a perfect ambassador for SupportHER.
What inspired you to be a part of the Canadian Business Chicks and
Women of Inspiration Awards?
It’s an honor and great pleasure to be part of your incredible cause. I love helping and be part of something that can make a difference, and uplift others. Being a co-founder of another project that recognized and support women empowerment, Canadian Business Chicks inspires me even more, with its solid platform, it could be a global advocacy by far.
Why is it important to recognize and be a champion for women?
I believe that in every man's success, there's an empowered woman behind him. In my world as an artist, I worked and collaborated with mostly women, started from my younger years with my mother, who instantly believes and recognizes… Click To Tweet. And, my wife who’s supported me all the way from the the start, helping me with my endeavors, while still working full time on her career as an O.R. nurse. She’s always part of my success. It’s great to be recognized as a champion for women!
Why do you SupportHER?
I just believe in the cause for SupportHer, a great honor and pleasure to render my services as a SupportHER and be part of it.
What did you love most about shooting our WOI Nominees?
Just being around with Women Of Inspiration Nominees was insane!
Taking pictures and working with them was a total blast! I had so much fun with all these inspiring ladies in their own incredible, distinguished characters, I felt the power within them, it’s very rewarding.

About Sam
SAM is an operating room nurse, bought her first camera to photograph squirrels in Saskatchewan, fell in love with natural light and wedding photography who thinks: it`s like surgery. Challenging, ever changing, fast pace, maneuvering uncontrolled situations and finding ways around it. Believes that skill and adaptation is key. A master of workflow, a sucker for romantic mountain adventures, candid emotions and cheesy punch lines makes her your best photography buddy.
