Sharon Bauer – Founder and CEO, Bamboo Data Consultant | @SharonBauerLLB Sharon is the founder of Bamboo Data Consultant.

She is a privacy consultant and lawyer, making her unique in market. She advises on international privacy regulations and operationalizes practical privacy programs for her clients. She also acts as a virtual Chief Privacy Officer. Sharon collaborates with her clients to develop privacy compliance programs that are not only in line with privacy regulations but also enable the business to build a trust relationship with their customers. She believes that data can have a positive social impact on society while at the same time enabling the business.

Kimberley St. Pierre – Director of Strategic Accounts, Tanium @Tanium, and Vice President @ ISACA Vancouver Kimberley St. Pierre has worked in IT & Business Development for over 20 years.  She has worked for Canadian technology giants TELUS and Bell, and also has experience working for the world’s largest cybersecurity companies.  Kimberley has a strong desire to build and maintain trusted long term business relationships.  She is making meaningful contributions to her customers and business partners by showing them how to effectively leverage technology to accomplish their strategic goals.  She has specialized in cybersecurity for the last four years and has become completely addicted to the field as global cyber risks continue to rise as does the talent shortage.

Venetia Verdicchio – Director, IT – Rival Technologies | @RivalTechCo

Venetia is an Information Security professional in the Market Research Industry. In her current role as Director, IT Security she leads security, compliance and privacy efforts for Rival Technology’s insight platform. Prior to joining Rival, Verdicchio led information security and compliance at Hyperwallet, a Vancouver-based fintech company acquired by PayPal in 2018. Her specialization is governance, risk, and compliance with a focus on data protection and audits, including SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001. Venetia is a graduate of the University of British Columba (BA) and holds an MBA from Simon Fraser University.

Dominic Vogel – Founder and Chief Strategist, Cyber SC | @cyberdotsc

As Founder & Chief Strategist at CyberSC, Dominic Vogel holds a proven track record within cybersecurity across a multitude of industries (financial services, logistics, transportation, healthcare, government, telecommunications, and critical infrastructure). Dominic actively participates in the Vancouver security community and is a well-respected cybersecurity expert for Global BC, CKNW980, News1130, and the Vancouver Sun. Dominic is highly regarded as a cybersecurity thought leader and was recently appointed to the BC Provincial Cyber Security Advisory Committee.
