Meet W. Brett Wilson, one of Calgary’s best-known investment bankers, businessmen, investors, and philanthropists. He is a former dragon on the hit business show Dragons’ Den. And now a proud SupportHER member. We are so happy to have Mr. Wilson on board as the latest addition to the Canadian Business Chicks’ family!

Wilson’s tireless work as a philanthropist and passion for investing in people highlights how he truly steps up to SupportHER on many levels. A Jack-of-all-trades, in his past, Brett has received countless accolades and recognition for business and philanthropic leadership, being named Alberta’s Business Person of the Year, Calgary’s Person of the Year, appointed to the Order of Canada, and an inductee in the Canadian Petroleum Hall of Fame.

Brett has a strong passion and love for community building. He is a leader in the push for corporate social responsibility. Brett is a firm believer in diversity – it benefits clients, businesses, and all facets of life. He also believes that in order for men to be a part of the solution moving forward, men need to understand and acknowledge the problems, come up with solutions, and actively participate and show future generations the path to follow.
