Dr. Julia Bao, Ph.D. Bao noticed a concerning gap in the skincare industry after reading the overwhelming amount of chemicals found in cosmetic and skincare products. It then became her mission to create 100% natural, efficacious, and cruelty-free skincare products free of parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, paraffin, DEA, polyethylene beads, synthetic colorants, and artificial fragrances with a manufacturing process that is gentle, ethical, and 100% environmentally friendly. Thus, BAO Laboratory was born.
