Canadian Business Chicks … living up to its name

Canadian Business Chicks’ has launched a national search for ambassadors

For Immediate Release – February 20, 2018, Calgary, Alberta. The Canadian Business Chicks’ is bringing together a group of women, nation-wide, to form a team of provincial ambassadors. These women will be the Canadian Business Chick champions in their province – helping the team to make connections, establish a presence, and attract the right movers and shakers to a series of events.

I knew when 2018 started that it would be a year of growth for our organization. We have changed lives and helped to accelerate careers in Western Canada – our team wants to take that formula and apply it across Canada,” says Canadian Business Chicks Founder and CEO, Monica Kretschmer. “We have plans to host events across the country and we need passionate business women who are considered leaders and influencers to help us meet our goals. Canadian Business Chicks’ Ambassadors will be the pioneers of our movement in their province – they will be the epicenter of celebration, recognition, and support for Canada’s incredible businesswoman network.

This volunteer role will be integral to the growing organization. The chosen ambassadors will be the face of their province’s Canadian Business Chicks network. They will be the voice of their community ensuring that the organization is bringing the resources and tools to female entrepreneurs, business owners, and service providers that are most needed in their businesses. “While there are many similarities in business needs across Canada there are specialized needs in each region. National ambassadors will help us tailor our offerings, events, and resources to ensure they speak to the women in that particular area,” explains Kretschmer.

National ambassadors will be part of quarterly video conference calls with the national network of Canadian Business Chicks Ambassadors and the Canadian Business Chicks CEO. They will help to identify opportunities to grow the Canadian Business Chicks network in their province, amplify the organization’s message online, and help to organize events on the ground with a team of remote support. Ambassadors will take on the role of local Canadian Business Chicks spokesperson at key events and with their local media and they will speak at local Canadian Business Chicks events. “These women need to have that Business Chicks hustle – they will be leading ticket sales to local events, identifying potential members, and helping to ensure Women of Inspiration are nominated and recognized in their area,” shares Kretschmer.

Ambassadors will receive several membership perks if chosen for the role including recognition at the annual Women of Inspiration Awards and first-right of refusal for leadership positions of provincial Canadian Business Chicks branches. Applications are now being accepted online and will remain open until the positions are filled. Chosen applicants will be interviewed via video conference by members of the Canadian Business Chicks team. For more information, visit.
