Prior to this role, Merren was CEO of an Australian Ultra Low Cost Carrier, Tigerair Australia. She has over a decade of aviation experience, including as CEO of Virgin Australia Regional Airlines and founding CEO of Virgin Australia Cargo, and is regarded as a role model within the aviation industry. Prior to discovering her passion for aviation, Merren held executive roles in a variety of industries, including Executive Partner at one of Australia’s pre-eminent law firms, Deputy State Solicitor of Western Australia and Chief Advisor for Rio Tinto Iron Ore.
