Marija founded MaKami College, the largest Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy College of its kind internationally. In 2001 at the young age of 21, being inspired by her immigrant parents plight to get educated in Canada, Marija founded MaKami College. Currently, Marija owns over 20 individual companies both locally and internationally that she either founded or co-founded. Marija is the co-author of a book called, “Skinny Business Start-Up”.

Lynn is a Homicide Unit investigator in the Calgary Police Service (CPS). She has served as the LGBT liaison officer to foster better relationships between the police and the community. Lynn received the 2012 QE II Diamond Jubilee Medal for her dedication to law enforcement and the advancement of LGBT rights.
