Karen Fonseth

DASCH - Chief Executive Office

Karen began her career in the marketing filed working with one of Canada’s largest mall developers.
She started her journey in the social services sector as the CEO of Big Brothers and Sisters Winnipeg and as a national board member.

Karen then became the CEO of DASCH, a leading not for profit agency who provides community housing for people with intellectual disabilities. Her skills have guided DASCH with innovative programs that have helped provide residential housing and programs for hundreds of Manitobans with intellectual disabilities.

Karen has an Executive MBA from Harvard University and has been sought after by organizations such as Children Believe, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada Foundation, The Winnipeg Football Club, Safe Haven Foundation and as an advisory group member for the Government of Manitoba. She is also a past recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal of Honor
