An exceptionally talented leader and dedicated public servant, Sue Finkam is always looking for opportunities to make a positive impact through her professional and civic life. Currently, she helps amplify the voices of mission-driven organizations as founder and CEO of FireStarter, LLC, a marketing consultancy recognized as a Women Owned business with a WBENC gold standard certification. With the benefit of Sue’s decades of experience in marketing, business management and human resources leadership, these companies are better able to save lives through organ donation and transplantation, provide a better quality of life through specialized health care and prevent climate change by reducing the need for gas power, just as an example. Sue also uses her business acumen to uplift her community of Carmel, Indiana. A current nominee for mayor, she has served on the city council since 2012, including several terms as president, vice president and finance chair.
