Articles Olivia Day

Olivia is one incredible 14 year old female. She is a member of the Banff Alpine Racers and is a Nationally ranked competitive ski racer. She is currently ranked number 3 in Slalom and 7th in Super-G for all females across Canada in her age group. This year she was awarded with Most Improved U14 Club Athlete, with it being her first year, and this being a new club.
Even though Skiing is her first passion, and is committed to both in-season and off-season training, she is also a competitive Martial Artist. Olivia is training & testing seriously in Karate, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiujitsu and is rising up the ranks. Even through her serious training, she still finds time to mentor younger students and volunteer her time to important events and initiatives.
Olivia was also just excepted into the National Sports School, and is in the running for the Ski Canada Magazine Scholarship.
Between balancing school (in which she is excelling), and multiple sports, she is an inspiration to us all.
