Since 2012, she has served on the city council for Carmel, Indiana, including several terms as president, vice president and finance chair, responsible for overseeing the city’s $140 million annual budget. As vice-chair of the Hamilton County Economic Development Corporation, she helped redefine the organization’s mission to focus on promoting the county as a great place to live, work and play. Sue is an IU Tobias Fellow and an alumna of both the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series and the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series.
