Mihae Ahn, MBA is an author and Vice President of Marketing at a technology consulting firm headquartered in the Greater Toronto Area. Having been on the streets marching for the causes closest to her heart, she continues to devote her time and energy to do her part to foster parity, justice, and equity. Currently she is focusing her effort on fighting gender inequity exacerbated by racism and white supremacy.
Mihae moved to New York City by herself when she was 19 years old. After 6 years in the city, she moved to Toronto to build her life from ground up once again. She has turned challenges and adversaries experienced throughout her life into unique opportunities for self-discovery and growth. She refuses to give up. Perseverance is one of the five primary values she lives her life by.
She is a big supporter of equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging at work. She believes in empowering women. She has assumed a Chief Diversity Officer role within her organization. Recently, she launched #EmpowerWomen, an employee resource group to empower and support women.
