Rose is an independent Board Director and Principal & Founder of Great Governance Matters and MPOWRU. She currently serves as Chair: Ontario Agri-Food Technologies; Vice-Chair: Agriculture Research Institute of Ontario; Independent Director (ID) and Chair, Sustainability & People, Link Energy, ID and Chair, ESG, HEXO Corp. and CO2-GRO. She has also served other corporate, not for profit or foundation boards.
Rose is the retired CEO of Ag Energy, a regulated energy retailer. Also was CMO: Schneider Electric Canada and GE Capital Canada – CDF. She led GE Canada’s Corporate Initiatives: Quality, Enterprise Sales, Diversity and other corporate imperatives (ie: P3s and Canadian Winter Olympics).
Rose is passionate about sustainability via positive change and engagement. She’s a champion for females and change and became Chair, UWN Advisory Board. She’s featured in UWN’s Women Who Drive Change book and is recognized by: Directors’ College Outstanding Achievement in Governance, Canadian Board Diversity Council’s Diversity 50, and Inspiring 50 Canada for inspiring women in STEM. She’s a Chartered Director and working towards the Competent Board Sustainability accreditation. She’s alumna of Directors’ College, Harvard, Rotman School of Business and McMaster University. She is a member of UWN, WXN, ICD and NACD.
