Canadian Business Chicks hosted a sold out inaugural Women of Inspiration Awards on Saturday, September 26, 2015 where 200 women who gathered to celebrate, network, and recognize women who inspire others to greatness. Our founder Monica, created Women of Inspiration as a legacy event to recognize her lawyer, Diane L. Harms who had helped her overcome a lengthy and complex litigation that span seven years, and 4800 hours. Diane was honored as a Women of Inspiration and presented with Calgary’s first Women’s White Hat by Deputy Mayor Diane Colley-Urquhart and Manjit Minhas exactly eight years to the day Diane took over Monica’s. Celebrity speakers and guests included, Legal Aid of Alberta, HomeFront, Michelle Morgan of CBC’s Heartland TV Show, W. Brett Wilson, Sophie Serafino, Aly Pain. Women of Inspiration proudly supports HomeFront to end domestic violence.
