Articles A Tribute – Women of Inspiration™ – Suzanne West

A Tribute to Suzanne West – A Woman of Inspiration who continues to inspire others to DREAM BIG! In Memory of Suzanne April 26, 1965 – March 6, 2018. Suzanne, you will be loved and remembered always!

Raising the profiles of women who are doing remarkable things is critical to paving the path for others to follow! I am inspired by the many women who I have the opportunity to meet and work with every day!

Today, we celebrate the memory Suzanne West, a Woman of Inspiration who inspires people to DREAM BIG, live on purpose, take the road less travelled, be of service and believe we can make a change in the world!

Suzanne was a unicorn. She was passionate about reinventing the traditional Canadian oil and gas landscape by prioritizing the use of environmental and digital technology to slash emissions. Suzanne was known around the world as an authentic leader and philanthropist who cared deeply for people and the environment. Her mission was to make the world a better place.

Today we celebrate her life and the positive impact her leadership continues to make!

“A Woman of Inspiration is a woman that loves being a woman. She knows her own strengths and has the courage to be that woman. She is a woman who inspires others to do the same.” Suzanne West

Suzanne was a woman who did not fit into a box or category. So we created one for her! At Suzanne’s celebration of life last year, I received a message (yes, I’m spiritually guided) to create an Award to honour Suzanne’s legacy and a platform for other women making a global impact. With the help of Wes Pohl (her right-hand SupportHER at Imaginea), and the blessing of Suzanne’s family we honoured Suzanne’s legacy as Woman of Inspiration making a Global Impact.

This year we have 23 Diverse Award Categories including the Global Impact Award honour of Suzanne. Audrey Mascarenhas, CEO, Questor Technologies was the recipient of our 2018 Global Impact Award as a world leader providing solutions powered by Clean Combustion.

Today, we are celebrating the memory of Suzanne and the extraordinary woman who lead, inspire and motivate us all to DREAM BIG!

“Be BOLD; follow your INTUITION. Follow your HEART; it knows the way!” Suzanne West
