We welcome 2019 Women of Inspiration Alumni Award recipients Deb Milimaka Miles, Larry Goerzen, Robyn Woods, and Arjun Channa who share their leadership wisdom and how everyone can take a role to SupportHER to advance women in business in any industry at any level on an organization. Deb Milimaka Miles – Chief Administrative Officer/Chief People Officer, Harvest One | 2019 Women of Inspiration SupportHER
A Senior Executive, Corporate Professional with over 30 years of high-performance corporate management and consulting experience in 16 countries around the world. Deb’s career has focused on driving transformation in business cultures through leadership.
Over her career, Deb has worked in the Financial, CPG and Technology verticals for both public and private, national and international companies, such as SMART Technologies, Aguila Convergence Worldwide, Foxconn, Loblaws, The Odella Group, Future Shop, Hudson’s Bay, National Trust, Scotiabank and BMO and most recently Harvest One.
Deb brings a wealth of experience in managing complex corporations through periods of global transformation, acquisition, and adapting in rapidly changing environments. In her background, Deb was with Loblaw, Canada’s largest retailer, where she led the national change team for one of the largest-ever SAP implementations. She’s consistently been recognized as a top performer with innovative and effective approaches to strategic planning, leadership, and organizational effectiveness. She’s known for building dynamic cross-functional partnerships within the Business and HR, to be agents of change.
Larry Goerzen, President of Alberta & Prairies, Rogers Communications | 2019 Women of Inspiration SupportHER
With over 28 years of Telecom experience, I have held various executive roles including VP of Sales in Western Canada and National SVP roles in Customer Operations where I oversaw fulfillment of all customer orders, Field Services Network Assurance, Customer Care and Strategic Planning. I have a proven track record of driving organizational improvement and implementing best practices. My wife Karen and I have 3 grown children and reside in Calgary.
Robyn Woods (Henderson) – Founder and CEO, The Uncomplicated Family | 2019 Women of Inspiration Trailblazer (STEM)
Robyn Woods (Henderson) is a visionary leader in the digital health space. She has taken bold risks to build technology to support children and families living with disabilities around the globe. Robyn’s vision is health equity, access, and personalized care for families and communities with complex needs. As a mother of five children, two with disabilities, a Registered Speech-language Pathologist, and founder and CEO of The Uncomplicated Family, she knows first-hand that people who receive timely, integrated, and barrier-free care can achieve their quality of life goals in half the time of families without this support. Her patented, video-based collaboration software, Teleroo™, has proven this time and time again and is hard at work for families around the world in homes, education centers, and hospitals. Robyn is a recipient of the Alberta Woman Entrepreneur of the Year: Upsurge Award and 2016 Ernst and Young Social Entrepreneur of the Year award for the prairie provinces. She lives with her partner, Brandon Woods, in Calgary, Alberta. Together, they are co-parents to five amazing young people.

Over 25 Years Global experience spanning: Two hotel openings, in Algeria and United Arab Emirates combined with European, African, Far Eastern, Pacific, Caribbean (Task Force GM) & North American experiences; and one hotel conversion in South Asia.
